Honoring Laraine
In August of 2025, our beloved Laraine—wife, mom, and friend to so many—was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of lymphoma called Blastoid Mantle Cell Lymphoma (B-MCL). She faced it with the same quiet strength and warmth that defined her life. Though she passed only three months later, she met each day with grace, courage, and love—the very qualities that continue to inspire us.
When she was diagnosed, our first instinct was to pause everything—to set aside the opening of the Carriage House and just focus on her. But Laraine insisted we keep going. She told us it gave her joy to see the vision come to life—to see our family building something together, just as she always dreamed.
So we did.
We finished the work with her in our hearts and by our sides.
We’ll continue shaping the Carriage House with the things she valued most—genuine warmth, thoughtful details, and a belief in family and community in every corner.
We blocked most of October and November to honor her life and her love, and to spend time with family and close friends. However, now we’ll continue to honor her the best way we know how—by sharing this place with others and keeping it filled with the same warmth she brought to everything she touched.
Bookings will reopen for Thanksgiving.
